Luke has emailed "mom hillestad" on Tue Apr 29 and they're doing fine!

It took them about 30 hours and 7 vehicles + a boat to get to Thailand! They spent some time in Tonsai which is far south, but now they're in Chiang Mai in the north.

They're working at Agape House, a "really smart and caring organization"  that houses 71 HIV positive, or likely positive, kids - ranging from babies to 16 years. Michelle is teaching dance to the kids and Luke is doing art activities and drawing the kids' portraits. They're staying in a relatively nice apartment and have bought a bicycle with an extra seat over the rear tire, which they'll donate to Agape House when they leave.

I get the impression that they don't have much internet access at the time, but when they can, Michelle will post some of her journaling. Hang in there!
